The Chief of Staff – Land Force of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces, Brig Gen Chris Bagonza, has commended Brig Gen Gerald Ahimbisibwe for his dedication and leadership, especially in the formulation of a five-year strategic plan for the Land Force.

Brig Gen Bagonza made the remarks during the handover ceremony of the Office of the Director for Policy and Planning – Land Force that was held at the Land Force Headquarters in Bombo. “Your selfless effort in generating the five-year plan is a key contribution to the Land Forces’ planning process,” Brig Gen Bagonza said.
He urged the staff of the Directorate to work closely with the incoming director, Col Stewart Agaba, to ensure continuity and smooth operations within the department and the broader institution.
Brig Gen Bagonza encouraged all directors within the Land Forces to become effective planners for the success of their respective departments.

In his remarks, Brig Gen Ahimbisibwe expressed gratitude to the army leadership for entrusting him with such a sensitive role. “I appreciate the trust placed in me and the support of my colleagues,” he said.

Col Agaba in his remarks thanked the UPDF leadership for sending him for further training and his subsequent appointment.
