The Military Police personnel have been urged to uphold integrity and professionalism as they provide security during this year’s Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) exams.
The call was made by Colonel Sylvia Meeme, the Brigade Operations and Training Officer (BOTO), during a briefing at Nsujju Mporwe Barracks in Mpigi District.
Col Meeme reminded them of the vital role they play in protecting the credibility of national exams.
“You are going to safeguard eleven years of hard work and the future of young Ugandans by keeping their exams secure, because you are a trusted force,” she said.
Mr. James Turyatemba, UNEB’s Manager for Examination Management, applauded the Military Police for their exemplary performance in previous examinations. He urged them to remain vigilant, ensure the proper storage of examination papers, and avoid any form of compromise.
The Military Police will ensure the safe transportation and storage of examination materials for the Primary Leaving Examination (PLE), Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE), and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE).
