The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, this morning hosted His Excellency Hugues Chantry, the Ambassador of Belgium to Uganda, at the Special Forces Headquarters in Entebbe.
The meeting, which follows a previous engagement in September of last year, underscores the continued high-level dialogue between the two nations.
The leaders discussed areas of mutual interest and security cooperation, with both parties hailing the importance of deepening bilateral relations.
Ambassador Chantry praised Uganda’s vital role in promoting regional stability and reiterated Belgium’s support for ongoing regional peace initiatives.
This diplomatic engagement highlights the enduring nature of the partnership, which is formally rooted in a Memorandum of Understanding first signed in 1995.
