Brief On Captured ADF Combatants, Defectors And Unaccompanied Minors

The Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence in partnership with Bridgeway Foundations continues to receive and rehabilitate ADF Ex-Combatants (Captives and Defectors) from Eastern DRC following heightened Operation Shuuja.

 

This is done in a phased way and now, 75 have been rehabilitated from September to December 2023.  These are categorized as follows:

 

Ugandans:

  1. Male adults –        05
  2. Female adults –        04
  • Juveniles

Male          –        06

Female      –        09

Congolese:

  1. Male adults     –        Nil
  2. Female adults –        16
  • Juveniles

Male          –        09

Female      –        23

Tanzanian

  1. Male adults     –        01
  2. Female adults –        Nil

Burundians

  1. Male adults        –        Nil
  2. Female adults    –        02
