The Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) informs all shortlisted applicants and the general public of changes to the recruitment schedule for selected districts in Eastern Uganda. The affected districts include Mbale, Manafwa, Bududa, Namisindwa, Tororo, Busia, Butaleja, and Mbale City.
The revised schedule is as follows:
7–8 August 2025: Shortlisted applicants from Mbale District and Mbale City will be recruited at the Mbale District Headquarters.
9–10 August 2025: Shortlisted applicants from Manafwa, Namisindwa, and Bududa will also be recruited at Mbale District Headquarters.
11 August 2025: Recruitment for shortlisted applicants from Tororo District will take place at Tororo District Headquarters.
12–13 August 2025: Shortlisted applicants from Busia and Butaleja will be recruited at Tororo District Headquarters.
This adjustment is intended to ease the recruitment process for candidates across the greater Eastern Uganda region.
