The Director Veteran Affairs, Brigadier General (Rtd) Emmanuel Musingunzi has urged members of Wakaliga Veterans’ Market to reconcile their differences and come up with workable methods that will smoothen the workflow of the association.
Brig Gen (Rtd) Musinguzi was speaking during an inspection tour aimed at finding a lasting solution for Wakaliga Veterans’ Market Vendors.
The tour also aimed at quarrying the root causes of a long-standing conflict that has been associated with the Mustard Seed Veterans’ Association (MUVA) so that the Directorate can now come out with a permanent workable solution.
Addressing the Veterans, Brig Gen (Rtd) Musinguzi called for total reconciliation and reorganization amongst the members so that they can be able to tap from government funding for future developments that will help them fight poverty.
He encouraged the Veterans’ leadership to streamline all leadership folds and strive for mindset change for better service delivery by considering the inclusiveness of all members regardless of rank at retirement.
