The East African Community Regional Force (EACRF) Commander Major General Aphaxard Kiugu in the company of the Deputy Force Commander (DFC) Intelligence and Operations – Brigadier Emmanuel Kaputa, Chief of Staff – Brig Gen Michael Kibuye, EACRF Chief of operations-Colonel Jok Aketch and other Force Headquarter Staff Officers visited Mabenga and Tshengerero Forward Operating Bases (FOBs).
The Force Commander (FC) was received by the UGACON Contingent Commander Colonel Michael Walaka Hyeroba and the Commanding Officer of 9th Battalion, Lt Col Samuel Lubega Mawanda both of whom appraised him on the security situation in the general area of Mabenga.
