Promotion And Appointments In UPDF

H.E the President and Commander in Chief of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces has promoted and appointed General Officers as follows:

1. Major General Francis Takirwa appointed Acting Deputy Commander Land Force.
2. Major General JA Bakasumba appointed Acting Chief of Staff Land Force.
3. Brigadier General Bob P Ogiki promoted to Major General and appointed 2 Division Commander.

The Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs and UPDF fraternity congratulate the General Officers upon their well-deserved promotion and appointments.
