He made the remarks today while officiating the pass-out of 71 soldiers from Military Police who completed a 10-week Applied Intelligence Course at the School of Defence Intelligence and Security in Nakasongola District.
Speaking on behalf of Joint Staff Training and Doctrine, Brig Gen Bainomugisha emphasised the importance of intelligence training in equipping officers with the skills needed for effective operations.
“Intelligence without a mission is like a bird without wings,” he stated, advising the officers to uphold honesty, intelligence, and sound judgment in their duties.
He urged the graduates to remain committed to learning and skill development to effectively combat threats.
The ceremony was attended by senior UPDF officers, local leaders, and intelligence officials, including Nakasongola’s Deputy RDC Mr. Mushambo Bakunda Abel and Deputy DISO Namuyiga Florence.
