Chieftaincy Of Medical Services Receives Donations Of Toyota Hilux Double Cabin And Yamaha Motorcycles

The Chieftaincy of Medical Services of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces has today received donations of a brand-New Toyota Hilux Double Cabin from PEPFAR Uganda and three Yamaha Motorcycles from the University Research Co., LLC (URC) that were received by Brigadier General Patrick Ocen who represented the Chief of Medical Services, Major General Ambrose Musinguzi.

 

Brig Gen Ocen thanked the two partners for supporting the UPDF and said that the donations will enhance the medical services offered by the UPDF to both its personnel and the civilian communities.

 

He added that the gesture will go a long way in cementing the relationship between the Chieftaincy of Medical Services and the two partners especially in their efforts to curb the spread of HIV/AIDS.

 

The Director PEPFAR program at Makerere University Walter Reed Project, Dr Fred Magala thanked the army leadership for a good relationship with PEPFAR and promised to continue working with UPDF whenever they are called upon.
