Maj Gen Bakasumba Urges New Land Force Director Personnel And Administration To Work Harder

The UPDF Chief of Staff Land Force Maj Gen Jack Agonza Bakasumba has today officiated at the hand/ take over ceremony of the office of the Land Force Director Personnel and Administration from Col Ronald Mutaawe to Col Chris Bagonza.

The function was conducted at the Land Force headquarters in Bombo, Luweero District.

 

Maj Gen Bakasumba thanked Col Mutaawe for being dedicated and outstanding. “Thanks for a job well done and l wish you well, ” he said.

He further welcomed the Incoming director Col Bagonza and advised him to work harder.

 

Col Mutaawe is one of the senior officers selected to attend a strategic course of Intake two 2023-24 at the highest military training institution, National Defence College – Uganda (NDC-U).

 

The Incoming Director Col Chris Bagonza thanked the President and Commander in Chief of the UPDF H.E Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the entire army leadership for entrusting him with such a critical responsibility, saying it is a sign of confidence in him.

The function was also witnessed by Director of Logistics   – Land Force Col Godfery Mathias Abigaba, Director of Finance Col Yoab  Yebazibwe, Director Auxiliary Force Col Kevin  Ejiet, and Director Intelligence at the Land Force Lt Col Albert  Kashakamba,  among others.
