UPDF Donates Food Items To Muslim Community In Kampala

The Deputy Chief of Civil-Military Cooperation, Colonel Sam Ntambirwe has today donated an assortment of food items to members of the Muslim Community at the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council Headquarters, Old Kampala.

Col Ntambirwe appreciated the Muslims who managed to go through the fasting period in the Holy Month of Ramadan and wished them a happy Eid Al Fitr. He cautioned them against involvement in criminal activities like terrorism since Islam is a religion of peace and encouraged them to work together with the government for more development.

Meanwhile, the Director of Sharia at UMSC Dr. Ziyad Swaleh Lubanga thanked UPDF for the assortment of food items for the Muslim community, which were donated through the Chieftaincy of Civil-Military Cooperation.
