This afternoon, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Chief of Defence Forces, met with representatives from the Turkish defence company, Karel, at the Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs (MODVA) headquarters in Mbuya.
During the meeting, the Karel officials showcased their latest defence industry products. The company, established in 1986, has over 20 years of experience in providing solutions for military and defence applications.
According to available records, the company generates an annual revenue of $350 million and employs a workforce of 5,000 individuals.
Gen Kainerugaba, who also serves as the Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations, extended a warm welcome to the Karel delegation on their visit to Uganda.
