The Spouses Desk of the Artillery Division has joined exhibitors at the Mid-Western Region Trade Fair and Exhibition, showcasing products made by military spouses at Masindi Boma Grounds in Masindi District.
The trade fair, which is scheduled to run until 6 September 2026, brings together exhibitors from across Uganda and neighbouring countries to showcase a wide range of products and services..
During the exhibition, the team also sensitised members of the public on the importance of supporting locally made products and encouraged them to embrace skills development and entrepreneurship.
Members of the community appreciated the initiative and commended the Team Leader of the Artillery Division Spouses Desk, Madam Wotali Esther, for her engagement with the public and the empathy demonstrated during the sensitisation activities.
The products were purchased in large quantities, with customers commending their quality and affordability. The exhibition also provided an opportunity for the exhibitors to explain to visitors how the various products are produced.
