“The peace we’re enjoying today, the developments we see, the social-economic transformation, and the social cohesion all Derive their meaning from this day,” Brig Gen Bonny Bamwiseki, as UPDF 4 Division celebrates the 42nd Tarehe Sita Anniversary in Gulu.
The Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces 4 Division which was joined by the Uganda Police Force and Uganda Prisons Service celebrated the day by matching through Gulu City to the tunes of the division’s brass band.
Brig Gen Bamwiseki said that no one should threaten the peace that was bought from the sacrifices made by the gallant Men and officers who began the revolution. He emphasized the need to identify with the civilian population by service personnel to strengthen the existing strategic relationship between the people and the force.
