The Interforce games continued to excite the public of Katwe Municipality who attended the various games in their numbers on day two of the hotly contested matches.
The first football match between UPDF FC and Uganda Police ended in a goalless draw. The UPDF team Coach Mr. Ssenyondo Brian said his team was ready to push up to the finals and his players are happy to see that happening.
UPDF FC team ready to retain their trophy for the second time
He added that his team has the potential of taking and retaining the trophy for the second time since 2019 before the COVID – 19 pandemic disrupted the annual event.
The other match in the afternoon was Maroon FC for Uganda Prison against UWA ending in 3-0 in favour of Maroons
In the Taekwondo show of extraordinary athleticism, the UPDF team played against Uganda Police Taekwondo team. The results of this attention-capturing match shall be announced on the last day of the weeklong games.
In related matches, the UPDF team was walloped 26_ 21 by Uganda Prisons in Handball.
