UPDF Retirement Documentation Team attends to 3 Personnel

The Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs / UPDF retirement, documentation and Sensitisation exercise has attended to Personnel of 3 Division area of responsiblity.

 

112 officers and militants under the Division turned up for the documentation exercise.

Col Godfrey Bizibu the most senior at the exercise thanked the MODVA / UPDF leadership for entrusting them with various responsibilties in their service to the country.

 

Currently serving as the 403 Brigade Garrison Commander, under 3 Infantry Division, recognised the importance of the reservists and requested the UPDF leadership for continued support to them.

Brig Gen Eugene Ssebugwawo the UPDF Deputy Chief of Personnel and Administration and also Head of the Exercise, elaborated on the aim of the documentation exercise as to sensitize the impeding retirees/ dischargees on the process of retirement, entitlements, necessary documents required of them and finally to share experience with experts in the same field.

 

He added that the exercise is targeting to document 1196 Personnel, among them 49 General Officers.

The exercise will last three weeks, covering all the UPDF Service, formation and Division Headquarters.
