Our attention was drawn to an online news story on www.freemannewsug.com titled, “UPDF has done substandard work at Namboole Stadium with Shs.97bn”.
We wish to go on record that the Rehabilitation of Mandela National Stadium in Namboole is on course and being done wonderfully. The only snag as of now is funds that are yet to be provided by the client.
All international standards are followed according to the FIFA guidelines manual as provided to us including CAF requirements.
CAF, FIFA, ATHLETIC federation, RUGBY President etc, have all been visiting the facility and guiding accordingly.
We assure Ugandans that no amount of distraction will divert the UPDF from delivering the best services to our country.
