H.E the President and Commander in Chief of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces has promoted and appointed Senior UPDF Officers as follows:
- Colonel Paul Muhanguzi promoted to Brigadier General and appointed Second Infantry Division – Second in Command.
- Colonel Peter Akankunda promoted to Brigadier General and appointed First Infantry Division – Second in Command.
