Masindi Army Secondary School has passed out 489 Senior One and 202 Senior Five students who completed a one-week patriotism training programme aimed at strengthening discipline, leadership, and national consciousness among learners.

The ceremony was officiated by the Deputy Commander of the Artillery Division, Colonel Rogers Dhikusooka Kitwala, who represented the Division Commander.

The training, conducted under the guidance of the Artillery Division, focused on ideological clarity, national values, and Pan-Africanism. It also included practical exercises such as marching drills and basic leadership training designed to build teamwork and resilience among the students.

Col Kitwala commended the learners for their discipline and active participation, noting that the programme was intended to nurture responsible citizens with a strong sense of patriotism and service to the nation.

The Head Teacher, Major R Tazzy, expressed gratitude to the UPDF leadership, particularly Major General Daniel Kakono, the Joint Staff, Formal Education, Sports and Culture and other stakeholders for their continued support to the school.

He said the school’s achievements reflect unity, discipline, and teamwork, adding that Masindi Army Secondary School remains committed to its mission and vision in line with the aspirations of its founding authority and the Commander-in-Chief.
