Gen Kainerugaba Demands Flawless Parade for Presidential Inauguration

The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, inspected parade preparations ahead of President Yoweri Museveni’s inauguration, scheduled for Tuesday, 12th May.

Speaking at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds during the final rehearsals on Friday, Gen Kainerugaba urged participants to sharpen their drills and ensure a perfect parade.

While thanking the troops for their efforts, which had already produced a good display, the CDF stressed the parade’s significance as a symbol of the military’s strength, discipline, and readiness.

He noted that guests attending the inauguration should witness a flawless performance with no glitches, and called on parade commanders and participants to leave no room for error.

The occasion was attended by Inspector General of Police Abass Byakagaba, Commissioner General of Prisons Johnson Byabashaija, Commander of Land Forces Lt Gen Kayanja Muhanga, Air Force Commander Lt Gen Charles Okidi, and other senior military and security officials.

The inauguration ceremony is expected to draw several regional leaders from across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
