He challenged the students to establish income-generating enterprises, form cooperative associations and use social media to market their products. He emphasised discipline, responsible time management and personal health, cautioning against laziness, and the misuse of digital platforms.
“I want you to stand and say, ‘I am not a job seeker, I am a job creator. My skill is my freedom. I will not disappoint my parents, my President and my country,’” Brig Gen Kitwala said.
The Director of Studies, Mr Rogers Mugabi, said the initiative had helped young people with limited formal education and those without employment acquire practical skills through training programmes lasting at least six months.
