A delegation of course members and staff from the National Defence College Kenya (NDC-K) has paid a courtesy visit to the National Defence College Uganda (NDC-U) as part of its regional and international study tour.
The Commandant of NDC-U, Brig Gen Alex Olupot, said the collaboration between the two colleges is a key pillar in strengthening this partnership, bringing together strategic thinkers who shape the region’s security landscape.
Maj Gen Yahya Abdi, Senior Directing Staff at NDC-K, said the engagement reinforces the long-standing diplomatic relations between the two countries.
He described the interaction as productive and pledged continued cooperation, particularly in benchmarking and academic exchange.
Those present included Brig Gen Kefa Nangeso, Dean of Studies at NDC-U; Brig Gen David Tweheyo, College Secretary; Brig Gen Dr Steven Kusasira, Head of Faculty for Policy and Strategic Studies; Col Dr Davis Rwangoga, Senior Directing Staff; and Col Ephraim Mugume, Senior Directing Staff, among others.
