UPDF Officers Urge Buddo Students To Prioritise Their Education And Health

A delegation from the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) has urged students of Kings’ College Buddo to prioritise their education and health as pillars to a better standard of living.

This was during an engagement between the officers and the students during the school’s Annual Career Expo today.

The Officers, drawn from the different Units and Formations of the UPDF told students that the army is now modern and professional and attracts recruits with skills in fields that enrich its path to the fulfillment of its core mandate of maintaining peace and stability.

The Officers that explained to the students the different career opportunities within the UPDF were drawn from the Chieftaincy of Civil Military Cooperation, Chieftaincy of Political Commissariat and the Defence Spokesperson’s Office.
