The Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) joined the Indian community in celebrating India’s 79th Independence Day at the National Forensic Science University – Uganda Campus in Jinja.

Speaking at the event, the Campus Director, Air Commodore Kedar Thaakar reflected on the longstanding ties between India and Uganda, citing shared colonial history, independence struggles, and mutual aspirations for emerging opportunities.
