The Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs Hon. Vincent Ssempijja has hosted a delegation from National Service Projects Organisations (NSPO) of Egypt at the Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs (MODVA) Headquarters in Mbuya.
The NSPO in Egypt is an equivalent of the National Enterprise Corporation (NEC) in Uganda.
The closed-door meeting discussed issues of mutual interest between the two countries at the MoDVA headquarters in Kampala.
The Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs was accompanied by; Under Secretary Finance at MoDVA Ms. Edith Butuuro, UPDF MP and Chief Executive Officer of NEC Lt Gen James Mugira among other senior officers.
The delegation was led by Brig Gen Ahmed Ahmed Muhamed who was accompanied by the Defence Attaché to Uganda Brig Gen Hany Hassanin Ahmed.
Other members of the NSPO delegation included: Col Mohamed Tarex Mohamed, Col Alsayed Mohamed Abdel and Lt Col Elnaggar Abdelmuhny.
