The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, this morning met with Sudan’s Ambassador to Uganda, His Excellency Ahmed Ibrahim Ahmed, the Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to Uganda at the Special Forces Command headquarters in Entebbe.
The diplomat was accompanied by Maj Gen Dr Faisal Al Tayeb Ali Khogali, the Military Attaché of the Republic of Sudan to Uganda.
During the meeting, the Ambassador commended the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces’ (UPDF) role in promoting regional peace and security. The Sudanese diplomat expressed Sudan’s eagerness to restore military cooperation.
