The delegation of the Egyptian National Service Projects Organization has met the Hon Minister of Defence & Veteran Affairs - Hon. Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja at MoDVA Hq in Mbuya.

The Meeting was on general & specific goals of Defence cooperation between Uganda & Egypt aimed at establishment of Joint projects.

The Egyptian delegation was led by the Egyptian Defence attaché to Uganda Brig Gen Osama Salim. Uganda and Egypt’s Defence partnership has over the years grown. " The fact that Uganda and Egypt share the Nile, cooperation between the two countries is inevitable because what affects Ugandans will in one way or another affect Egypt " said the Egyptian Defence attaché to Uganda Brig Gen Osama Salim.

The meeting was attended by the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Hon Gen Wilson Mbadi, Ministry of Defence Permanent Secretary Mrs. Rosettie Byengoma, the Joint Chief of Staff Maj Gen Leopold Kyanda among other Senior Officers.
